The Forest Healing Center is calling for 1000 people to support the forest regeneration project by donating $400 each. Each donor will be one of the 1000 initial members and will be invited to one of the 13 opening ceremonies in the next 5 years. You will have the knowledge that you made a real difference and helped this regenerative event to occur.
The forest regeneration project is meant to salvage and restore recently logged forest land in Southern Oregon. Permaculture principles and natural technologies will be used to restore the native forest and heal the effects of logging that impacted the forest infrastructure significantly. We will heal the land by bringing a multi stage clean up and restoration project over the course of the next few decades to replant and reforest the acreage. We will host permaculture and regenerative courses and invite our founders to be guests on the land. As a founder, you will be hosted at one of the 13 long weekend ceremonies during which you can camp on the land, participate in restorative work, engage in ceremony to honor the land, and connect with other supporters.
Each weekend will be designed to achieve one of the stages of implementation of the project from the very beginning from strategic planning to completion of forest restore. You are not obligated to attend, you will be acknowledged and honored if you choose to donate from afar. The dollars collected will be used to purchase the land from the current loggers and to assess and begin initial restorative work, as well as to fund the organization. You will receive project updates including types of trees planted and timeline for growth.
The goal of the forest restoration project is to honor the land by returning the trees. We will enrich the vital habitat for herbs, fungi and roots with our layered medicinal forest garden, and honor the land through hard work and ceremony. At the proposed site in Southern Oregon there is a confluence of two creeks and a legacy of life giving thriving forest. Please become one of the people to restore and preserve this habitat. The time is now. We are looking for 1000 people to donate $400 each.
